Hi — I’m Abraham, the person behind Household Chores Spin the Wheel.
I started this website because home chores became a big part of my life over the years.
Not in a dramatic way, just in the normal everyday way — cleaning something, organizing a corner, fixing a mess, or trying a new shortcut that makes life a little easier.
I was never someone who “loved” chores from the beginning.
But slowly, as I started managing things myself, helping at home, taking care of daily tasks when my mom wasn’t well or when guests arrived suddenly… I realized how important these small things actually are.
And I truly believe everyone should know basic cooking, cleaning, organizing, and taking care of their own space. NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE.
This site is where I put everything I’ve learned.
From cleaning hacks that saved me time… to small habits that stopped the house from getting messy again… to practical tricks my mom taught me… to things I discovered just by doing and failing and trying again.
How It Started
I didn’t grow up studying any system about home management.
I learned because life teaches me these things quietly.
My mom always kept our home clean in her own style.
She had her small routines — folding clothes neatly, cleaning the kitchen at night, organizing shelves without ever saying a word.
I watched all that since childhood, but only later I understood how much effort goes into it.
When I began helping more, I did so many mistakes:
Sometimes I washed something wrong, Sometimes I organized shelves and then forgot where I kept everything,
Sometimes I tried deep cleaning and ended up making a bigger mess.
But those mistakes actually taught me better than any book or video.
Slowly I learn and experiment many ways that worked for me — simple, realistic, not-too-perfect methods that anyone can follow.
At one point, I even started treating chores like a small game.
I would pick random tasks, do them in any order, and not overthink. That idea became the inspiration behind the name “Household Chores Spin the Wheel.”
Not that I am spinning a wheel every day — but more like, don’t stress, just start somewhere.
What I Do Now
Today, I spends time testing new cleaning methods, small organization systems, productivity tricks, decluttering ideas, and ways to make chores less boring.
I don’t use expensive tools or anything complicated.
I try things in my real home, see what works, and then share it here.
My goal is simple:
- Make home chores lighter
- Make cleaning less frustrating
- Make organizing less confusing
- Make home management easier for everyday people
Most importantly: keep things practical.
Everything you find on this site is based on real life, not theory.
What You’ll Find on This Blog
On Household Chores Spin the Wheel, I share things like:
- Cleaning hacks that actually save time
- Easy ways to declutter without getting overwhelmed
- Small routines that make a home feel more peaceful
- Family-friendly chore ideas
- Productivity tips for managing daily tasks
- Organization ideas using things you already have
If something worked for me, I would write about it.
If something fails, I write about that too.
Because that’s how real homes work — sometimes clean, sometimes messy, sometimes in-between. And that’s okay.
Why I Write
I write because I want home chores to feel less stressful for people.
Not perfect. Not spotless.
Just manageable.
I know many people feel tired, or busy, or don’t know where to start — and I’ve been in that position so many times.
If one small tip, or one simple routine, makes your home feel easier, then this whole blog is worth it.
Thanks for reading and being here.
I hope something I share helps you in your own home.
— Abraham
